'Dead Alive'

Saw too much at an early age.
Read a lot. Saw even more.
Thirst for knowledge and Experience,
Filled my cup whenever I could.

Now, my life's so full of rage.
Self worth. I'm feeling pretty poor.
Thought I'd lost all common sense.
Stupid things I never would have done before I felt

Dead Alive.

If you were to look at me today
You'd never know it's me.
All who view me in their simple way
Would think I was set free.

They don't know how it feels
To be told you're all used up.
Right now I see nameless faces
For me to smash and fuck up!

I know I won't.  It isn't me.
I've gotta shake this feeling. It's not right.
Don't know how much longer I can hold on..

Feeling Dead ….......    Alive.
