 How to heat frozen stuffed shells without tomato sauce

Lightly coat a colander or steaming pan with cooking spray or oil.

Place the frozen stuffed shells in a single layer in the oil coated colander.

Put 4 cups of water and a teaspoon of salt in a pot. Place the colander with the stuffed shells in the pot, suspended over the water.

Turn on the heat to medium high.

The water will turn to steam and gently cook the stuffed shells. Cook / steam for 20 minutes.  Turn off the heat.

Carefully remove the stuffed shells and coat with your favorite garlic and butter, butter and herb , pesto or other sauce. Or eat plain.
