does mankind  kill ???

over STUFF !
Stuff will, can and does KILL.

I’m fairly certain you’ve read in the news
Where some kid was killed 
Over one PAIR of SHOES.

Or a body is thrown into the Hudson to float
Because some other dumb bastard
killed a man.. for his COAT !?#

And some other nut killed a lot of innocent boys
Because to him they weren’t people
But a psychopath’s TOYS !!

They’ll kill for a dollar
They’ll kill for your car
They’ll even kill you
If you’re a famous star.

Some ‘for the thrill of it’
Others ‘for kicks’
Let’s just admit it
They’re all friggin’ sick.

Just DON’T for a second think these individuals
have cornered the market on killing and crime
Not the ‘mob’, nor the ‘mafia’ or ‘organized crime’
It’s not Russians or Italians, Iraqi’s or Jews.

It’s the NUTZ in the government
They kill who they choose !

Over stuff
Stuff will kill you
It’s THINGS they all want
They’ll kill & they’ll torture
They’ll Tease and They’ll taunt

Just like bullies at school
They’re like kids .... all frustrated
Instead of solutions they use
Methods...outdated.

‘If diplomacy fails’
(And they all hope it will)
‘We’re going to war
We’ll send boyz there to KILL’

Government’s cool 
if you watch how it works
You’ll see red tape and payoff’s
And nepotist jerks

For YEARS now the dopes have had trouble,.. for OIL!
DEAD DINOSAUR juice. Rotted matter. OLD STUFF!!
STUFF that’s so old
It was PRE-REAGAN. PRE-USA. PRE-HISTORY!!!

Simplistic solution... go to WAR!!! KILL. KILL!!!
What moron’s we have on Capitol Hill.

They think we forget. We’re apathetic. Or fools.
I remember a promise to develop
SYNFUELS !!!

What a concept , I thought.. An idea they borrowed
From Hitler and his boys...
I should have seen what was coming..

In the forties because of the WAR over STUFF way back then
When blockades and torpedoes 
Airstrikes and mass murder made
getting some oil too hard.. someone said..

‘Let’s make synfuels’
From corn, or refuse and garbage
Kill two birds with one stone...................
Then the Allies marched in.

Research was done. They could’ve done it.
But lethargy stepped in..
Let the GOVERNMENT run it...

So the idea...it died.
Too much work I assume.
If they DID do it...Well
No more war... their games’ ruined.

In following years some guys dressed in sheets, somewhere in some desert
Said..’Hey! We got STUFF! Let’s make THEM pay MORE!’
So they did. And the STUFF made us whores.

Once again some government GENIUS said
Hey.. let’s make SYNFUELS... and tell the sheetmen
to bug off. We’ll get VOTES! and be HEROES!

And the synfuels GRAIL was once again touted
As the solution to everything
A Georgian peanut farmer shouted
It’s SYNFUELS. I’ll save us.

That’s the last I heard of THAT thing.!!

They’ll kill you for steel
They’ll kill you WITH steel
They’ll kill you for oil.
Put you in it....to boil.

They’ll kill for some wheat or a barrel of beer.
They’ll kill you for thinking
They’ll kill ‘cause you’re ‘queer’.

But mostly they kill because it’s so EASY
The arms brokers like it. Believe me...they’re sleazy.
Mainly they kill ‘cause they want someone’s stuff.
Stuff will kill you. I’m done. That’s enough about STUFF!
